HEV is really one of ur best choices when u combine with shatter hex and GoLE for places in NF, especially Realm of Torment and DoA

The above are nice 'bread and buttter' mesmer skills so i'll add.

Diversion is probably the best HM shutdown there is. Don't even try and interupt most skills, they will be recharged before your interupt is. Just sling a diversion on and it makes things a lot easier

Sympathetic Visage is also great for many mobs, esp those pesky jungle scarabs.

Mirror of disenchantment is nice when facing mobs with Aegis or a bonder monk in(e.g Dolyaks and Shiverpeak protectors)

Basically some E-surge dom when you don't have access to EotN.
If you do, use MoR on the PvE spells for even better effect.
Or just echo-chain them.

SV on the scarabs, treat them like smites in the UW. Set all heroes to non aggressive, and use aegis and wards to help you get past them.

having recently gone through Bloodstone Fen (although it was with an assassin) my answer to you is this: no. Get some guildies, or make a post in the Tyrian Explorer's League forum or the Pug Forum and ask for some assistance. The hench just don't cut it. You need at least a second human and some heroes to do this effectively.

As for the OP, I've been having fun with Signet of Illusions and skills like Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support. I really need to go through and pick up Pain Inverter. Just casting that at R4 is enough to make ele's cry. Casting it at max attribute will be joy.

While it's fun, I would not use SoI when you have higher ranked reputation.
For example, echo chaining the assassin or using it to spread PI is probably doing more damage than just one with SoI. Specially since PI has a cap of 80 damage.
And the ranks are not that hard to get on a decent level (just use some hero books on them).

I guess if you are doing just damage Empathy Backfire Energy surge.

Just for kicks and giggles I tried the monk approach with SOI Aegis at 16 plus a 20% mod is a good skill to have on your bar. I also had ancestor’s visage ready for the warrior after aggro. Especially handy in melee heavy areas. I was still able to run my PVE skills on my bar.
